Thursday, May 9 is Ascension Day, which is an immovable feast day and a day of obligation. In other words, it cannot be transferred to a Sunday. Therefore, we will celebrate the Ascension of the Lord Jesus at 5:30 PM on May 9 with Holy Communion.
