Texas Select Custom Cutlery Event

One of the largest knife shows in Texas! Featuring bladesmiths and knifemakers from across the nation - from Master Smiths to next generation makers! This is the largest organized gathering of the History Channel’s Forged in Fire bladesmiths in the nation! Cowboy Szymanski (1st season of Forged in Fire) invites the public to meet and interact with several of his fellow Forged in Fire competitors! This event is hosted by Phenix Knives at the Austin County Fair Convention and Expo Center. Admission is $10 at the door. Visitors will have the opportunity to see live demonstrations by many Forged in Fire notable bladesmiths, visit with them about their work and purchase custom pieces, get pictures and autographs, as well as try your hand at some forging with the pros. Throw tomahawks with Bravehawk Forge for a chance to win a custom forged hawk! Bid on custom pieces during the auction, and cheer for your favorites during the Chopping Competition Tournament each day! Phenix Knives is donating a custom forged knife to the local Bellville Engineering, Science & Technology Booster Club which will be raffled off at the event to benefit their summer science camp and scholarship fund. Raffle tickets can be purchased from BEST Boosters and at the Texas Select event. The Bellville Lions Club will serve hot food and cold beer, benefitting many local charities.
